As new members of the #AgentsofChange movement, our team here at Asset Protection Services of Colorado is excited to embark on an adventure to positively impact the lives of people in our community. Our first campaign will focus on supporting the ongoing efforts of Wish for Wheels.

Wish for Wheels is a grassroots nonprofit founded in 2004 by Brad Appel with the help of other like-minded cycling and bicycle enthusiasts. Wish for Wheels came to be due to a collective sentiment, that is – every child deserves to ride a bike and experience the great feeling of freedom, independence, and success regardless of their family’s ability to pay! This organization comes to the needs of underprivileged and at-risk children by providing them with a new bicycle and helmet.

Incentivizing healthy habits from an early age is critical because it plays an important role in their development and their future health. Did you know that the prevalence of obesity in children and teens in the US is 18.5%? What’s worst is the fact that low-income communities are the ones who are at risk the most since they have less access to healthy foods. The good news is that we can invest in our pupils today and make sure they have a more prosperous future tomorrow!

With that in mind, we want to make sure we do what we can to help! That’s why when you refer someone to us for a free insurance policy consultation, we’ll invest $10 in a child’s future.
